I decided to tackle something that had never been done, doing 3 live shows at 3 different venues in one night. My group and I, collectively organized the night and decided it would be cool not only to do the shows, but also document it in a short film to show everyone. The night started off at the LPB headquarters where a NOLA style band jammed, 3 artists were painting live including myself and art was hung all around for bidding. I painted Jimi Hendrix here from 6pm-8pm. As we cleaned up at LPB film continued to roll and we jetted to the Office downtown Baton Rouge to paint live at their night of fashion from 9pm-11pm, here I created a portrait of boxing legend Mike Tyson. Prior to the LPB show a friend had taken my supplies to the Varsity and set up my easel and paints so I could go directly to the venue and paint for the HOPSIN Concert. So around 12 am I painted live for a high intensity crowd influenced by hip hop artist Hopsin. Overall an amazing experience and hope to create more experiences like it in the near future!
