Mother Mary Series

The inspiration behind this series, the Blessed Virgin Mary, transcends time and space. She transcends human categories such as age, race, and socioeconomic status. In this world she was poor materially, but rich in what matters.

Personally, in Jacob's life Mother Mary has always been his constant. A lifeline and an intercession to Jesus. The repetition of the study is reflection of repetition of the Hail Mary's in the rosary. All originals are (1 of 1) a part of his morning warm up including; color coordination, texture, & prayer-expression of Marys face uniquely different by the guidance through the holy spirit.

Each painting is thoughtfully done from start to finish. Starting from the Colors, to the textures, to the final framing. These are personal, yet relatable pieces of artwork that are must-haves for your home or business.

  Queen of the Universe:

Mary was quiet, humble, and unknown, but became the Queen of both Heaven and Earth. She was a Virgin but somehow the Mother of God, the Mother of the Creator, the Mother of our Savior...the Mother and Protector of us all. Likewise, she is the model for all women, the model for those who are oppressed and outcast, the refugee, the model for all wives and mothers, the model for those who pour out their lives for the good of others, the model for all those who love. She’s proof to us all that humility and obedience conquer pride and evil, and that God uses the lowly to conquer the strong. She’s the reminder that all things are possible for those who love God, and she’s our model of what it looks like to love without counting the cost. Mary is the only person in human history to be the child, the spouse, and the mother of God. She relates to us all. She is the one we can all look to when we feel lost. Furthermore, she leads us always and only to her Son, our Savior. She goes by many titles and takes on many appearances - Mother of God, Full of Grace, Mary Most Holy, Our Lady of the Miraculous medal, The Immaculate Conception, Immaculate Mother, Immaculate Virgin, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Mother of Mercy, Refuge of Sinners, Queen of Peace, Queen of Martyrs, Our Lady of Fatima, Our Lady of Guadalupe, Our Lady of Lourdes, Our Lady of Kibeho, Blessed Among Women, Cause of our Joy, Gate of Heaven, Star of the Sea, and the list goes on.

The point is that she represents all women, and she loves us all. Her prayers and her example empowers us through are UPS and DOWNS , and she loves to bring us to her Son - the Way, the Truth, and the Life - the answer to all of our desires.
